Film Title: The Suppressed
Genre: Action/Adventure (Sub-Genre: Superhero)
The Pitch
Two siblings, Clary and Aria Dale, are being hunted down by “Censor” due to a Government Scheme that are eliminating and suppressing the Dunamis. These people are gifted in a variety of ways that has ransacked the world with fear. However, the Dunamis (Gifted people) that have been captured and suppressed by being held in a mental institution where unbeknown to them the prescribed pills they are being given to them are supressing their gifts. Aria Dale (one of the siblings that was taken) is supposedly dead, and the other sister, Clary Dale was captured and put in the institution along with the other existing captured gifted people. When Clary is taken to the institution, Dr Corvus and Nurse Vovin wipe her memory with the pills and she is remained with no knowledge of her past or the gifts she possesses. However, Clary does maintain one memory, this being her sister and the time they spent together. Here is where our film starts, Clary’s inability to remember that she possesses a gift and how she got to this institution, leaves her to question which reality is real when she begins to faintly remember her past, but after an incident at the institution that was to similar to her own past memories she realises that they are real. After this new discovery of her past, Clary escapes from the institute, with telekinesis powers. She hunt down her sister’s killer for answers. Once Clary tracks down the killer (Officer Steel), it is soon revealed that he was just a pawn in a Government Scheme to suppress the Dunamis in order to control them (the ones they cannot control are killed). Once learning to control and enhance her powers, she sets off to free the suppressed starting at the institute she was held at by changing the tablets they subscribe and allowing them to gain their memories that they had lost. This enables her to release the others and begin bigger plans to take down the whole Government Scheme. This proves to be more difficult as a familiar face unexpectedly appears, which is her sister working for the Government due to her not possessing a gift and causing her to have a jealous rage against her sister. Clary finally destroys the Government Scheme, along with securing her sister into the same institute she was held captive. Clary continues her search to free others who are still being suppressed, like she was.
